I've only started pursuing acting in my early teens. My cousin did a few commercials and she was constantly getting auditions. So one day she took me to one and i was one confused girl. I had no idea what to do at the time or how an audition works or what i had to say in front of the camera. But I was interested and was willing to give it a shot! So i went to more auditions for commercial then finally landed a supporting role in a cough medicine commercial.

From commercial auditions, I went to TV series and Movie auditions and boy was that another world! Its very different than commercial aud, I had to memorize scripts and where a certain clothing and different make up and hair.. i was one lost puupy! I blew almost every audition I went to because I was young and felt intimidated by the auditions and i was not used to it, I was only experienced in modeling!

But I kept trying to burst this shadow that i was covered by. Slowly I got better and gained more confidence! I landed a few supporting roles in tv shows such as Bajaj Bajuri(my first tv show appearance ever! still to this day my old friends talk about it!), Bawang Merah & Bawang Putih, Inikah Rasanya, Bidadari. I felt great! I felt confident in what I was doing, so I decided to pursue acting as well as modeling.

NOW, I have experiences all over the place! From commercials to movies! I've also appeared in a Video Clip for Eric Benet (a Jazz artist also known as Haley Barry's ex hubby).

I never really had a "passion" for photography ever! Until I was helping my friend with his photography assignment one day. He wanted me to be the model and so we did a few shots, but at break i picked up his camera and started taking pictures. When we both looked at the result we both agreed that my pictures would be a better choice of theme which was Candid Jakarta. He also told me I have talent and "a good eye". Ever since then I've developed a relationship with photography :) I admire looking at people's photographs because I feel I can judge psychologically the meaning underneath the picture.

when i grow up..


I've been modeling since I can remember! I remember being in these little girls peagents.. with gowns and tiaras and jewelry..*reminiscing*

But I am a big girl now and more experienced! :) I've done runways(to name just a few.. converse, reebok, Lenny Augustine, Adjie Notonegoro, Revlon, Rexona) post ads(to name just a few.. colorbox fashion line, macro shopping centre, nail pia), magazines(to name just a few.. HIGHEND TEEN MAGAZINE!!! cosmogirl, seventeen, W magazine) and commercials!(to name just a few macro shopping centre, gulaku, pop ice, esia, gudang garam, xl) .. :)

The upside about modeling is that I dont get nervous anymore because i am used to it. I love getting hair and make up, I love hanging out with the crew, and I've got to know a lot of awesome people in the bizz.. and i love modeling!

The downside......... I AM FAT!(in the modeling world) I LOVE MY PIZZAS AND BBQ!!! :'( :'( the whole year i've maintain a stable weight but that took effort! like i actually had to watch what i was eating at most times... imagine if I wasnt watching my weight? People tell me i am not fat all the time and thats right i dont feel fat but i have been told to my face that i was fat BY the modeling industry people!! and since modeling is a passion of mine.. no wonder i've maintained a stable weight i am sorta 50/50 on norm and modeling...

Just a few things you hear when watching a game... people go insaaane when supporting for a country!!!

The world cup 2010 is held in South Africa :) Shakira recorded a single specially for this event titled "Waka Waka (This time for Africa)" its incredibly catchy! It tends to stick in my head once in awhile.. and me and my friends sing it before we watch a game!!! "Waka waka eh eh Tsamina mina zangalewa This time for Africa!!!" hahahahaha... soo.. I recomend you to download it from iTunes or Frostwire of click this link http://www.dilandau.com/download_music/shakira%20waka%20waka-1.html its my ring tone too and i am keeping it till the end of the world cup! :p

Well since I am half American and half Indonesian and Indonesia didnt make the world cup I am supporting America :D so far America has not lost but has not won either! Its always a tie! US vs England was 1-1 and US vs Slovenia was 2-2! If i put a bet i wouldnt have lost.. yet.. And besides America i support Brazil and Germany :) simply because of their soccer records hehehehe..

YABADABADOOOooo!!!
I made the cut of top 20 for MTV VJ HUNT 2010!!!


When I read that email titled congratulations.. My heart skipped a beat before i even read it!!! I dont know how to describe the feeling.. I was ecstatic!! That feeling when your riding a roller coaster and your slowly working up to the peak and it plunges down and a loop making your stomach turn, your heart pounding and your screaming on top of your lungs because it was such an awesome feeling! yeaaaaaaah.. :D

At first I had absolutely no hope or any expectations for any kind of response; good or bad. It was just a shot, what did i have to lose? nothing! what do i have to gain? A BOATLOAD!!!

I am so thankful, blessed and honored to JUST be in the running to become a VJ. Because I know thousands of people around the world would KILL to be in my position! and I know how that feels... that's why there is just no words to describe how thankful i am that MTV has chosen me in top 20.

I have sooooo much support from my friends and family its RIDONCULOUS!!! I am so thankful for having all the support.. Sooo..

THANK YOU EVERYBODY FOR HELPING ME GO THIS FAR!!! you have been voting and keeping up with my blog! However, this is only the beginning! so we've got a lot of wrok to do!!!

Overall, I do feel this is one of the biggest life experience because this opportunity has brough me and my family closer, me and my friends closer, my friends and their friends closer :)
